The Legend of Koji: The Maiden of Lodain
~1~ THE AMBASSADOR
The red dwarf of Gemini-3 begins its daily, slow awakening, as it’s done for a millennium. From the surface of Tyrock, one of Gemini's six moons, the early morning rays gleam vividly off the gas giant’s many rings, illuminating the moon’s atmosphere with an orange tint. Time passes slowly on the frozen moon, as the rays gradually shine upon the mining colony, bringing its inhabitants to life.

The door slams shut
The baby starts to cry
But you throw on your coat
And you, storm outside
It’s the middle of the night
Ya just got in another fight
You get in your car
You start to drive
All across this town
With your wounded pride
Wishing she would understand
You’re just a man
Its times like these
That you have regret
Everything from your marriage
To the day that you met
But you have to stay true
You know it’s hard on her too
When the bad overcomes
The good in your life
It cuts through your marriage
Like a razor sharp knife
Making everything tough
The once was is now not enough
But loves not easy
And it doesn’

It's Christmas Time Again
The smell of cookies
Creep across the air
A thick Santa quilt
Draped over a chair
Stockings hung
All neat in a row
On the T.V
Is a Christmas show
Snow covered boots
Lay by the door
Little bare feet
Scamper across the floor
Behind them they drag
A snowy trail
While off to the side
A puppy chases his tail
While Momma pours candy
In a big round bowl
Auntie tells stories
About the North Pole
Then comes Granny
Holding a big, round plate
She laughs as the Cookies
Light up their face
A miniature town
Sets high on a shelf
On another is Santa with
Four working elves
And in the corner
Is the most beautiful sight
A full Christmas tree
Covered
Today is your birthday
I got your favorite roses
I’ll just place ’em on your grave
I’ve been hurting all these years
I’ve been praying through all these tears
This morning I walked
Through Central Park
Where I met you
Where I lost you
Where we first kissed
Where we last kissed
I stared at the spot
Where I lost my bliss
Death was meant for me
Instead it found you
Why did He let this happen?
I tried to see, from His point of view
Instead
Everything reminds me
Instead
Everyone condemns me
So every night
For these past three years
I’ve talked to your picture
Choking on every tear
Every time the leaves change

The Inconceivable Riddle
In the darkened sunny sky, a storm was coming to.
Lighting clashed as the sun shined with no clouds in view.
Rain began to fall on this hot snowy day,
all while the flowers grew and birds chirped away.
A tornado then touched down,
upon a sleepy little town.
But that same night in the middle of the day,
a town was destroyed by a hurricane.
How is this possible, how can this be?
Lord have mercy, will someone help me?
Young girl walked out of a church
Hanging on to her daddy’s hand
With a look on her face
That read I just don’t understand
When they had knelt at the alter,
She heard the preacher man say
“God is the Almighty,
You got to have faith.”
Not knowing what to do,
She just prayed to the stars
Because her momma was slipping away
For her, heaven wasn’t far
She had been struck down at home
With little strength to leave the bed
Whilst the young girl sat in church
These few words ran through her head
“Why’d it have to be this way?
Why’d it

God Made You (For Me To Love)
We started out
As two abandoned hearts
Lost and stranded
Crying in the dark
But fate it seemed
Lead us where we are
To a stronger love
Waiting with open arms
Though this new found passion
Took us by surprise
A flame was formed
That will never wither nor die
And it was all Gods doing
That forged you in my soul
It’s as if God made you
For me to hold
So every night
I thank the man above
Because God made you
For me to love
Since the day we met
My life was forever changed
You gave it meaning
The moment you took my name
And I often imagine
You were sent from His bliss
That’s where you take me
Every time we kiss
Just gaze into my e
I remember those rendezvous
Out at the park
Where we would just talk for hours
Where you promised we’d never part
Those trips out of town
Those hotel nights
The way we would have
Our secrete lover fights
These are the thoughts
That tortures my mind
Causing me all this pain
Taking me back in time
Where your memory haunts me
As does your ring
Did you really love me?
Or was I just a fling
Promises of divorce
Was all empty lies
You left me full of hurt
That weighs heavy on my eyes
I can’t believe it’s been so long
Has it really been a year?
I can’t keep going on like this
I just can’t, shed another tear
